Retail Park Piraeus
Piraeus & Kifisou, Attica, Greece
At the crossroads of Pireos and Kifisos Avenues, TenTec undertook the full management and construction of a two level and basement green retail park with a total area of 25,850 sq.m.
The project was delivered to the Fourlis Group portfolio, introducing to Athens a commercial space of high aesthetic quality, functionality, and environmental sensitivity.
The 15 acre property had been an unofficial dumping ground, containing approximately 130,000 cubic meters of waste and debris. The full soil restoration and environmental redevelopment required an investment of more than 1.5 million euros.
The new retail park incorporates stores, parking areas, green zones, and modern infrastructures, fully aligned with the urban fabric and the principles of sustainable development.

The area presented significant environmental and urban planning challenges. The removal of a massive volume of waste and the need for foundation works on unstable ground required a combination of technical precision and environmental responsibility.
At the same time, the discovery of archaeological findings introduced new conditions, requiring rescue excavations and the preservation of an ancient sanctuary within the site, a challenge that TenTec approached as an opportunity for cultural contribution.
TenTec applied an integrated project management strategy. With respect for the environment and cultural heritage, the project was delivered under strict standards of safety, energy performance, and aesthetic coherence.
The result is a model green retail park that combines commercial use, urban renewal, and cultural sensitivity, a landmark project for Athens and the Fourlis Group.
